Becca trained at Vidal Sassoon in London and worked at a big-chain salon in Toronto for four years before deciding she'd had enough of upsell scripts. She opened Beck & Co in 2018 with one chair and one mirror. She runs the place by one rule: tell the client what their hair actually needs, even when it costs the sale.
Tasha joined in 2021. She came from a high-volume King West colour studio and wanted out of the booking-every-fifteen-minutes pace. She does lived-in colour mostly. She also does the consultations that talk people out of bleach jobs that won't work for them.
Mei joined in 2023 to take on brows and skin. She trained as an aesthetician in Toronto and worked in two downtown spas before moving back to Durham. Her appointments tend to run on time. Her schedule does not.
We book one client per chair per slot. We don't double-book. The room stays quiet on purpose. If we send you home, it's because we think we should. Not because the schedule says so.
