Brows, tweezed not waxed.

Mei does brows with tweezers, which takes longer and costs the same. The shape gets built one hair at a time, in good window light, in front of a mirror she'll hand to you twice during the appointment.

What it's like

Three things, in this order.

We start with the brows you already have. Mei maps the natural shape with a pencil, then asks you to look. Most of the conversation happens before a single hair gets moved.
Tweezers only, never wax. The work goes slowly on purpose; the shape stays kinder to the hair underneath, and the grow-back is cleaner.
Tint at the end if you've booked one. The colour gets mixed at the chair, two shades lighter than the hair on your head. It looks like nothing the first day, like everything the second.

The numbers on the slip are where we begin. The final lives in the consultation, written by hand on a card you take with you.

First brow appointment runs 45 minutes.
Come without makeup if you can. We can work around it if not.

After-care

What to do after the chair.

Avoid heavy creams on the brow line for 24 hours. Tint takes a day to set.
If you pluck strays between appointments, do it under the brow only, never on top.
Most clients come back at week five. We do not push.
