Becca cuts dry, which means the shape you walk out with is the shape we saw. No blow-dry sleight of hand, no hidden length lost in the rinse. The chair, the mirror, and an honest conversation about what your hair actually wants to do.

What it's like

Three things, in this order.

First, a long look in the mirror. Becca asks what you do with your hair on a regular morning, not what you want to do once a year. The cut follows from that, not the other way around.
Then dry. Sections taken from the parts of your head you actually live with, not the parts you'd hide if you could. The shape gets built in front of you, slowly. You can speak up at any point.
A blow-dry at the end if you'd like one. Or not. Some clients prefer to leave with their hair the way it'll be tomorrow morning, and that's the whole point.

The numbers on the slip are where we begin. The final lives in the consultation, written by hand on a card you take with you.

First appointments run 90 minutes so we can talk.
Bring a photo if you have one, but the chair will decide.

After-care

What to do after the chair.

Wash less than you think. Twice a week is plenty for most cuts; the shape holds longer.
If you blow-dry at home, start with the roots and finish in the direction the cut wants to go.
Come back at week six for a trim, week ten if you can sit on it.
