Mei builds facials the way she builds brow shapes: slowly, in window light, with the client awake to what's happening. Resurfacing if you have a few weeks of recovery in the calendar, hydration if you don't.

What it's like

Three things, in this order.

We talk first. Not about products, about your week. The right facial depends on what you have in front of you; a wedding in six weeks is a different conversation than a Friday board meeting.
The treatment itself happens with the room dimmed and the music off if you'd prefer. Mei narrates softly through the parts that take longer; she stops at any point you ask.
We finish with the actives that suit your skin barrier, not the actives the brand is pushing this season. You leave with a one-pager, written by hand.

The numbers on the slip are where we begin. The final lives in the consultation, written by hand on a card you take with you.

Bridal prep starts six weeks before the event.
Resurfacing facial runs 75 minutes, hydration runs 60.

After-care

What to do after the chair.

No active acids or retinoids for 72 hours after a resurfacing facial.
Sunscreen mineral, not chemical, for the next two weeks. SPF 30 minimum.
Drink the water you'd usually drink, plus another full glass. That's the whole rule.
Bridal prep clients: stop trying new products four weeks out from the day.
